These Studs suit the Ford Cleveland and 429-460 Big Blocks.
If you have OEM original heads, you will need to have your posts machined/milled down an tapped to accept these after market studs. This is a common practice on modifying OEM heads to accept screw in studs.

This stud has a thin jam nut for rocker clearance, rolled threads for maximum contact and a ground-flat top so that accurate valve adjustment can be achieved and maintained. The diameter of the jam nut is larger in order to spread the load over a larger area. All COMP Cams® studs have generous radii and a black oxide finish.
