COMP Cams 3135TB Ford 302W 351W Windsor Camshaft Thrust Retaining Plate with Torrington Bearings and Wear Plates.

Eliminate wear at the front of your Ford 302 & 51W Windsor with a Comp Cams moly-coated Torrington retaining camshaft plate. These Camshaft thrust plates have a roller thrust bearing also known as a torrington bearing. Comp Cams unique design is .142" thick and aids in setting the proper cam thrust clearance while eliminating gear to block wear. This part does require machining to fit.

Stress placed on cams and timing sets in today's racing engines produces a weak area at the front of the block. COMP Cams thrust plates have solved the problem with a moly-coated wear plates and thrust bearings. They are a must for all Windsor & Cleveland engines. The Torrington thrust bearings are a 3-piece design for Fords.
