LS2 LS3 Single Bolt Camshaft conversion to 3 Bolt Camshaft
This conversion kit is designed to allow installation of a 3-bolt style camshaft into a 2006 and newer LS2/LS3 engine that currently utilizes a single bolt camshaft. Some 2006+ Gen IV LS2/LS3 engines originally used a single bolt camshaft which has been known to potentially shear the camshaft dowel pin which allows the camshaft to come out of time with the engine crankshaft, resulting in catastrophic damage. This upgrade kit allows use of the superior 3-bolt camshaft design.
BTR 1-bolt to 3-bolt conversion kits will allow you to convert your Chevrolet LS Series 1-bolt to a 3-bolt LS camshaft. These kits include LS2/LS3 3-bolt, 4-pole 58X cam gear, and LS2/LS3 and LS7 style timing chain damper. Cam bolts are included.
