DRP - SSS Retainers to suit 8mm valve stem.
Precision machined from chromemoly steel & black oxided, these 7 degree retainers are designed specifically for 8mm valve engines using the DRP Smart Spring System (SSS)
Fits LS1, LS2, LS3 and AFR Cylinder Heads with 8mm vavle stems (Chevy 350 & 454, Ford Windsor & Chrysler V8)
The DRP Smart Spring System utilises a uniform valve spring dimension across its range of heights and rates, thus standardising the retaienrs & locators requied. This removes the complexity around matching up hardware to valve springs, also saving on inventory in shops. The DRP SSS valve springs retainers are the perfect solution to this problem. The DRP valve springs utilise a modern small diameter, light weight design. Modern technology and advanced process's allow the small wire and small diameter design to withsand the rigors of modern agressive camshaft lobe designs. The lightweight valve spring mass keeps your valve train stable and reliable.
The DRP retainers are also designed with a modern and advanced process's, utilising contoured top profiling for lower stress and weight. The retainers are CNC-machined to exact tolerances.
