These Solid Roller camshafts suit the Small Block Chevy, 302, 305, 327, 350, 383, 400, Cubic Inches SBC. 1958 to 1998.
Solid or Mechanical Roller Chevy Small Block 350. The Solid Roller is the popular choice for the very high powered and High revving Small Block Chevy. The applications are Drag Racing, Circuit Racing and Tough Street Machine.
These Solid Roller Camshafts are often agressive in lobe design for maximum power, however also maximim wear and tear. Total Performance do offer "Street Rollers" which are street friendly and softer, more forgiving on the valve train components. Look for the key words Street Roller.

NOTE: If you are running a Chevy 383 Stroker, you may need a small 0.900" Base Circle camshaft (0.900 BC). This means the base of the lobes are smaller than normal and measure to 0.900" diameter. This smaller base circle is to allow for the conrods to clear (due to the larger stroke in a 383 stroker). Other options are to run a "Stroker Clearanced" set of conrods. Look for "0.900 BC" in key words. Or please call before puchase.
