351W Windsor: Factory Roller vs. Retro-Fit: Factory roller blocks position the lifter bore higher up than early flat-tappet blocks, requiring shorter pushrods (around 7.56–7.60") [compared to stock flat-tappet pushrods (which are roughly 8.150"). Retro-fit roller kits in old blocks vary because of cylinder heads, rockers and lifter valley.
