Powerbond Race Series LS1 Balancers for VT VX Commodore Every Race Series Dayco POWERBOND balancer features a precision CNC machined AUSI 1045 forged steel hub & bonded to a steel inertia ring. The Dayco Race Series balancers are very light for an all steel balancer.

The LS1 Harmonic Balancers have a rubber diaphram is designed to absord significant torque forces & harmonics. Wear and tear happens between the hub & accessory drive ring under loads and rpm. As the rubber ages it will weaken, allowing small tears in the rubber causing the balancer to fail.

The Race Series models have a steel inertia ring and is positively protected against forward and backward movement, in addition has the security of bonded rubber to eliminate spinning.

If your vehicle has done over 100,000km's, Dayco recommends changing the LS1 balancer as part of routine maintenance.

The Dayco POWERBOND Race Series brings the advantages of bonded balancers to high revving race and street/race applications where an SFI approved balancer is required.
