OEM Replacement LS1, LS2 Balancers for VT VX VY VZ Commodore featuring high grade Spheroidal Graphite (SG) iron castings. These LS harmonic balancers are assembled with new inserted - bonded rubber as used in the original balancer.
The LS Harmonic Balancers rubber diaphram is designed to absord significant torque forces & harmonics. Wear and tear happens between the hub & accessory drive ring under loads and rpm. As the rubber ages it will weaken, allowing small tears in the rubber causing the balancer to fail.
If your vehicle has done over 100,000km's, Dayco recommends changing the LS balancer as part of routine maintenance.
NOTE: DOES NOT suit VE 6.0 Engines
