Edelbrock part #2121 Performer 289 intake manifold is designed for street 260-289-302 c.i.d. Ford V8's without EGR. Will not fit Boss 302 or 255 c.i.d. V8's. Edelbrock's Patented Dual-plane, low-rise design with a 180-degree firing order greatly improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response from off-idle through 5500rpm. The Performer intake manifolds are ideal for passenger cars, trucks, 4x4s, tow vehicles and RVs.

Installation Notes:

Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7220;

Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 500-650cfm, for automatic transmissions use #1483 & #1490 or #1844.

 Due to the design of Performer manifolds, the throttle and kickdown bracket on some vehicles may require modification to fit. When using Edelbrock carburetors, use #1490 or #1845 throttle plate kit. Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
