Installation Note: Ford 351 Cleveland cylinder head bolt torque sequence: Starts from the center bolts and works outwards in a clockwise rotation. OEM final torque value of 105 ft-lbs. Apply the torque in stages, gradually increasing the force. A re-torque is advised after an initial start-up and cool-down period to double check. Apply oil or suitable thread lubricant to head bolt threads and use the ARP lube underside of bolt heads and washers to prevent galling and false torque readings. Torque 1/2” bolts to 100-110 ft./lbs (1/2” bolts) in four steps (30, 60, 90, 100-110) following the factory tightening sequence
