Genuine OEM GM LS L76/L77 AFM Active Fuel Management / DOD Lifters.
AFM (Active Fuel Management) also known as DOD - displacement on demand, was designed to help conserve fuel during highway cruise by deactivate unnecessary cylinders as needed to improve engine efficiency. However the factory lifters were prone to failure resulting in lifter and cam damage in some cases.
