This 308 hydraulic roller camshaft is designed to fit Holden 253 and 308 V8 engines with early carby heads, making it a proven upgrade for 355 stroker builds. It delivers a rough, performance-style idle with strong throttle response, excellent midrange torque, and powerful top-end pull to 6500 rpm. Suited to performance street cars, Group A replacements, or track applications, it works best with higher compression, upgraded gearing, and supporting modifications.

Recommended Setup

• Compression: 10.0 – 10.5:1

• Single plane or dual plane intake manifold will work. 

• Recommend Valve Springs: DRP Streetline or DRP Proline valve Springs
