Pistons for LS1 LS2 LS3 Engines. Race Forged and Street Forged (4032) Pistons

LS Pistons are Forged from high-silicon 4032 alloy for tighter, quieter running clearances. The 4032 Forging is perfect for Street/Strip & stroker LS builds, these 4032 pistons are the perfect choice for your street LS Commodore or engine swap converstion. The all out race LS Forged pistons are made from 2618 alloy which requires slightly more cylinder-to-piston clearance. These LS race forged 2618 pistons quite often are noisy on start up and can be annoying for Street cruising guys. However the 2618 Forged pistons are required when you force induction or turbo charge your LS.

The LS Pistons can come in many different types, from LS Flat Top pistons, LS Stroker pistons, LS high compression pistons, LS dome pistons, LS blower pistons.
