These 351 Cleveland oil pans start out as new stamped steel pans which are customised with specially designed extra oil capacity wings. The wider & deeper wings allow extra oil capacity without affecting ground clearance. The extra oil capacity limits you running out of oil when running at high rpm. The high RPM often pumps the oil to the rocker covers and drain back time is too long. Extra capacity helps eliminate this issue. In addition, the extra oil capacity helps maintain a lower & constant oil temperature for longer lasting oil life. These winged deep oil pans also feature a windage trays and crank scrapers for a higher performance level.
