This StreetFighter High Stall converter is designed specifically for the Holden V8 Trimatic and the  '62'-73 Powerglide transmissions. Usually provides 3000 to 3400 Stall behind Small Blocks and 3400 to 3600 Stall behind Big Blocks. Features Anti-Balloon Plate to help with converter issues expanding under full load and pushing against the thrust bearings in the engine. 

StreetFighter converters will give you about a 3,000 to 3,500 rpm stall speed. They're recommended for use on high-compression street/strip engines and higher performance cars and are used on some of the fastest street machines the world over. Plus, some applications are available with an anti-ballooning plate for use on vehicles equipped with nitrous oxide.

Torque Converter 741001  *not same as 741000, however has the anti-balloon upgrade.
