Description
Comp Cams 35-600-8 Ford 351 5.0L Windsor Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Choppy Thumping Idle.
High performance street Windsor Hydraulic Roller camshaft with nice racy idle. Can work with the stock converter, however best with a 2000+ converter and gears, choppy/thumping idle. This camshaft has a tight lobe separation so you will loose manifold vacuum and this may affect your power brakes.
This Windsor camshaft has the large base circle, so will fit into both early and late windsor blocks (tall & short lifter bores) If using in a late OEM roller block, you can use the OEM dog bone type lifters or a Tie Bar lifter. If using this camshaft in the early short lifter bores, you must only use Tie Bar lifters.

Base Circle: Large - suits OEM Windsor roller blocks with tall lifter bores - can use both OEM drop in lifters & Tie Bar lifters.
