The connecting rods of Chevrolet's 383 stroker engines are notorious for making contact with the camshaft or block. DRP have solved this issue with its new 6.000" conrods. These high quality H Beam conrds features relocated cap bolts for increased block clearance and a rod redesigned to clear the biggest of camshaft lobes. A choice of High performance ARP 8740 bolts or the Higher-strength ARP-2000 7/16" bolts allow maximum clearance with a standard base circle cam. These premium H Beam Stroker conrods are of a H-beam design and has unbeatable strength. Developed exclusively for the Chevy 383 strokers with 3.750" stroke crankshafts, however are also used in the 393 408 Ford Cleveland stroker and the Holden 355 stroker combinations! These DRP 6.000" conrods are machined on CNC equipment and finished to exact tolerances so these Stroker Rods Set are ready for assembly*. It offers the most clearance in the industry at an attractive, cost-effective price. *We do strongly recommend checking all clearances. 

All DRP CONRODS are weight matched to ± 1 gram and utilize ARP 8740 OR ARP 2000 7/16" rod bolts. They are available for Chevy Small
