HOLDEN 253, 308 V8 Suits early, Carby heads engine, Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft, 236/236

Suits Holden V8, 253, 308, Red, Blue, Black motors with Carby Heads.

Strong mid range power that carries through to the top end. Lumpy idle with reasonable street manners. All round great street camshaft.

Needs 10:1 minimum to 10.5:, must use a high stall torque converter. Head modifications with extractors and intake upgrade for added performance gains.

Recommended Intake: DRP-308-DPMAN

Recommended Carby 650 cfm: Edelbrock ED1905 (308 Holden)

Recommended Carby 500 cfm: Edelbrock ED1902 (253 Holden)
