Application & Compatibility

The Edelbrock ED8100 dual feed fuel log is designed to suit a wide range of 4-barrel carburettors with side-hung float bowls. Direct fitment for Holley 4150 series carbies including Double Pumper (e.g. 750 CFM, 850 CFM Double Pumpers), Vacuum Secondary models, HP Series, Ultra HP, and Brawler carburetors. Also fits the Holley 4500 Dominator series for high-horsepower applications, and the Edelbrock VRS-4150 carburettor range.

Common applications include Small Block Chev (SBC 350, 383, 400), Big Block Chev (BBC 396, 427, 454), Small Block Ford (Windsor 302, 351W), Ford Cleveland (302C, 351C, 393, 408), Holden V8 (308, 355) and any other carburetted V8 running a 4150 or 4500 flange carby.

Telescoping Adjustment

The centre section telescopes from 7-3/4" to 13-1/2" centre-to-centre, covering single-carby installations through to dual-quad tunnel ram and 6-71 / 8-71 supercharger setups. The swivel ball socket ends rotate independently to align with the carby fuel inlet regardless of intake manifold orientation, eliminating the bind and stress that plagues fixed fuel logs.

Fuel System Sizing

The log itself is -10 AN (AN10, Dash 10) at the inlet, with a supplied -8 AN (AN8, Dash 8) male adapter for installations running -8 AN supply lines. For naturally aspirated builds up to around 600 HP, -8 AN feed is adequate. For forced induction, nitrous, or builds beyond 600 HP, run the log in -10 AN configuration for maximum fuel flow capacity.

Gauge & Transducer Ports

Two 1/8" NPT (National Pipe Thread) ports are provided for mounting a fuel pressure gauge, electronic pressure sender, or data logger transducer. Unused ports can be plugged with standard 1/8" NPT plugs (not supplied).

Construction

Billet aluminium (aluminum) construction with black anodized (anodised) finish for corrosion resistance and a clean appearance under the bonnet. Compatible with petrol, E85, methanol and racing fuels. Suits street, strip, circuit and marine applications.
