This Comp Cams LS camshaft works well with factory combinations and has been successfully installed by many customers using the standard factory torque converter. In many cases the engine will run from factory tune settings. We do recommend a custom tune to maximise power, drivability and throttle response.

While this LS1 cam upgrade can operate with standard valve springs, upgrading the springs will allow the camshaft to achieve its full RPM potential and improve long term valvetrain stability.
