COMP Cams 35-514-8 is a mild hydraulic roller camshaft upgrade for Ford 5.0L and 5.8L Windsor engines. Best suited to street EFI Windsor combinations chasing more mid-range, a tougher idle over stock and better pull with the right supporting parts.

This is the Extreme Energy XE266HR-12 grind, with 216/224 duration @ .050", .544"/.555" valve lift and a 112° lobe separation. The 112° LSA helps keep it more street-manageable and EFI-friendly when matched with the right tune.

Note: This cam can also be used in older/early 2-piece rear main seal blocks when using tie bar lifters.

• 3.27 to 3.73 diff gears
• Mass air EFI setup
• Larger throttle body
• Better intake manifold
• Headers and exhaust upgrade
• Matching valve springs, retainers and seals
• Correct pushrod length checked during assembly
• ECU/tuning support where required
• A low stall converter upgrade will help, not required though.

Installation Note: Total Performance always recommends camshafts and valvetrain parts be installed by an experienced engine builder. Check piston-to-valve clearance, retainer-to-seal clearance, valve spring installed height, pushrod length and coil bind clearance during assembly.
